Sponsorships play a vital role in NCShakes' success by helping underwrite productions and programs. These projects make it possible for us to serve more than 50,000 students and citizens annually in our community, region and state.

In addition to our MainStage season and annual production of A Christmas Carol, NCShakes offers a number of Outreach & Education programs. In recent years, sponsors have supported:

• Shakespeare To Go Tours - the region's premier in-school Shakespeare performance experience
• ShakeSpirit - bring teaching artists into the classroom statewide
• Hands On Shakespeare - Teacher workshops
• SchoolFest matinees - entire program or individual performances
• Signed Performances for the hearing impaired
• ForeWords and AfterWords - preshow and postshow discussionss
• Camp Shakespeare - summer camp for ages 12-18
